The FMME + FSTX Shotbolt Lock Unit is designed for secure locking in hazardous areas, meeting ATEX and IECEx certifications for gas Zone 1 and dust Zone 21. With a nearly horizontal force-vs-stroke characteristic, it ensures consistent locking force throughout operation. Available in three coil diameters – 37 mm, 45 mm, and 63 mm – this robust solution offers both energise-to-lock (push) and spring-to-lock (pull) configurations to suit a wide range of safety applications.
Built for reliability, the unit features a stainless-steel locking bolt, high-duty cycle operation (S1 – 100%), and electrical connection via a durable metal terminal box. Fastening is achieved via a central thread, and the protection class IP54 ensures resilience in challenging environments.
Certified to Ex II 2G Ex eb mb IIC T6/T4 Gb and Ex II 2D Ex tb IIIC T80°C/T130°C Db, the FMME + FSTX is ideal for machinery guarding, interlocks, and safety systems in chemical, petrochemical, and industrial facilities.
