Description

The GPCS 028 Purge/Drain Valve is a compact, media-separated solenoid valve designed for precision control in fuel cell systems and other demanding applications. Engineered as a 2/2 normally closed, directly controlled cartridge valve, it isolates the medium to protect internal components and extend operational life. Suitable for water, coolant, hydrogen, air, and other neutral gases, it features an integrated filter at the inlet for added protection. With a nominal working pressure up to 3 BarA and a maximum of 4 BarA, the valve delivers fast response times under 100 ms and exceptional durability with over 24 million switching cycles. Electrical connection is via a TE Micro Quadlock 2-pole plug, with IP6K9K protection when installed correctly. Available in various nominal widths and easily mounted via two diagonal holes, the GPCS 028 offers reliable, efficient performance for purge and drain control in compact, high-performance systems.
