The OVDC Over Voltage Controller is a precision electronic device designed to manage solenoid power for improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption. Operating from a stabilised 24Vdc supply, it delivers full voltage to the connected load for approximately one second before automatically reducing the holding voltage to 40% of the input level. This controlled drop minimises heat generation, prolongs solenoid life, and optimises performance without compromising actuation reliability. With a trigger voltage of 24Vdc and a maximum current rating of 5A, the OVDC can control loads with resistances as low as 4.8Ω, and is ideal for applications requiring sustained solenoid operation in clean, dry environments between -5°C and +35°C. Its compact, robust construction ensures reliable service, while the PWM-based output adapts to different inductive loads and power supplies.
