Description
The ZKDH Holding Current Reduction Plug is an intelligent control device designed to optimise solenoid performance by reducing energy consumption and heat generation without compromising functionality. Operating on a 9.6 to 28.8 V DC input range, it uses microcontroller-controlled pulse width modulation to deliver full voltage for a 300 ms attraction pulse before lowering the holding current to an adjustable value. This allows the same solenoid to achieve either maximum attraction force or minimal energy demand, depending on application needs. Built into a robust DIN EN 175301-803 Type A connector housing with a turn-able cable outlet in 90° steps, the ZKDH offers IP65 protection when correctly installed and features clear LED status indicators. Suitable for linear solenoids, rotary solenoids, and shotbolt lock units, it provides a practical, easy-to-integrate solution for enhancing efficiency and extending solenoid service life in a wide range of industrial and security applications.
