Description
The 5U7 Series Linear Solenoid is a compact actuator designed for motion control in automation, machine tools, and packaging equipment. Featuring an armature with integral clevis end for pull operation, it delivers an increasing force characteristic over strokes up to 12mm, making it ideal for applications requiring controlled actuation.
With a C-frame (U-frame) design, the solenoid fits into space-restricted environments while maintaining durability through zinc/nickel-plated iron components. It operates in any orientation and can be supplied with a spring return for automatic stroke reset. Available with tag connectors or flying leads, the 5U7 solenoid can support 6V, 12V, 24V, or 205V DC, with an optional rectifier for AC supply compatibility. Coils can be rated for continuous (100%), intermittent (25%) or pulse (10%) duty cycles, with Class B coil insulation for reliable operation in demanding environments.
